Elisabeth Blanchet's Autumn of photos

Elisabeth spent the last months ...

going to Romania to work on her long-term project : Ceaucescu's orphans, 20 years and will have an exhibition of her work in March 2012 in Paris, at the Romanian Cultural Institute. She is also planning to publish a book with the children's portraits and stories and raise money to help the most vulnerable of the ex-orphans and also the ones who have education or business projects. She particularly would like to thank her supporters who financed the project via the Crowd Funding platform : Ulule.com

spending lots of time in Dale Farm and on Travellers's sites which resulted in a 7 pages feature : Irish Travellers, la fin d'un monde in the French magazine Causette

then at a Gypsy wedding in Essex and a Gypsy funeral in Bermondsey

discovering the extroardinary (backstage) world of the London Fashion Week for Time Out

recovering for a long and slightly naughty hilarious weekend at the Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival

but she didn't quite find her match and kept on her solitary exploration of the British seaside

then getting back indoors to prepare some Christmas and Greetings Cards which can be bought online in her Etsy shop (a few examples below)

and to prepare new prints at very affordable prices. They would make ideal Christmas presents. Please have a look in her Etsy shop
